Day 01: Arrival in Srinagar and Local Delights As you land at Srinagar International Airport, our representative will extend a warm welcome and guide you to your waiting vehicle. A scenic 35-minute drive through New Srinagar city leads you past the picturesque Abdullah Bridge, along the Jehlum river. Begin your journey with half a day of local exploration, visiting the renowned Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Admire the captivating greenery, cascading fountains, and panoramic views of Zabarwan mountains. Conclude the day with a serene 2-hour shikara ride on Dal Lake, passing by charming vegetable gardens. Enjoy dinner and unwind in your hotel/houseboat.
Day 02: Sonamarg Day Excursion Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a memorable journey to Sonamarg, a majestic mountain retreat. Traverse rolling hills, lush forests, and vibrant rice fields as you journey through the countryside. Pause at Mammar for a delightful tea break, and continue to the captivating Gagangir, nestled amidst the river Sindh. Opt for a 3-hour scenic walk or horseback ride to Thajwass glacier, embracing Sonamarg’s natural splendor. Explore the local market and observe everyday life before returning to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Srinagar to Pahalgam Retreat Embark on a picturesque drive to Pahalgam, traversing National Highway 1A. Admire the saffron fields of Pampore, the historic ruins of Avantipura, and the vibrant village of Bijbehara, famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir. Revel in the scenic drive along the Lidder river, arriving at Pahalgam. Check in at your hotel and relish leisurely nature walks amidst the stunning landscapes. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 04: Pahalgam Exploration After a delicious breakfast, choose to explore Pahalgam further. Venture to the enchanting Chandanwari and Betaab Valley or embark on a horseback ride through the wildlife sanctuary to Baisaran meadows. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore as you please. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 05: Pahalgam to Gulmarg Enchantment Indulge in a delightful morning meal before embarking on a scenic journey to Gulmarg. Traverse vibrant villages, lush rice fields, and captivating countryside, offering glimpses of Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage. Arrive in Tangmarg, a charming market town, and continue on a scenic 14-kilometer drive to Gulmarg. Settle into your hotel and acquaint yourself with the meadow’s captivating beauty. Day 06: Gulmarg Exploration and Departure Embark on a captivating adventure aboard the Gondola cable car system, ascending to the Afarwatt Mountain range. Capture stunning photos of towering mountain ranges before descending to Gulmarg. Engage in horse-riding to the strawberry valley, soaking in the natural beauty. After a leisurely breakfast, prepare for departure. A scenic drive to the airport awaits, with a possible stopover for last-minute shopping in the city center. Our driver will assist you with luggage screening and bid you farewell as you depart, carrying cherished memories of your remarkable Kashmir expedition.
Arrival in Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel and then proceed for Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens, With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them - the three Mughal Gardens, Nishat and Shalimar Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake,. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ is Urdu, which means "Garden of Joy," "Garden of Gladness" and "Garden of Delight. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa)The garden is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture. After breakfast full day Excursion to Sonamarg (2740 mts) also known as ‘The Meadow of Gold’ or “The Gateway of Ladakh’ Sonamarg is 87 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. Once reaching at Sonamarg our vehicle will stop at Parking area from there the guest will Hire Pony/ Local vehicle for local sightseeing (Direct cost basis). In Sonamarg the Thajiwas Glacier is 3 kms in the south of Sonamarg main attraction. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent takeoff point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley. Return for Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar
After breakfast leave from Srinagar to Pahalgam. on the way Guest can Visit Awantipura ruins, Cricket Bat Factories, Saffron Fields. Once reaching at Pahalgam our vehicle is only allowed for local running in Market not for Sightseeing in Pahalgam. Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Pahalgam offers breath-taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus. After Check in at Hotel, Guest can visit Aru, Chandanwari & Betaab valley by local Vehicle hiring from Registered Tourist Taxi Stands OR else can do Sightseeing of Baisaran, Dabiyan, Kashmir valley, Water Fall, Pahalgam Valley, Kanimarg on Pony hiring from Pony stands (Direct Cost basis). Chandanwari is situated 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain).The road to Chandanwari is beautiful and enjoyable. The valley is of average nature. However people can see the Beautiful starting point of great Amarnath Yatra. Betaab Valley is situated at a distance of 15 kilometres from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Aru valley is located around 12 km from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. The Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows. It is popular among the tourists for its peaceful environment and scenic beauty. The village is a base camp for trekkers to the Kolahoi Glacier, the Tarsar - Marsar lakes and the Katrinag valley. It is also a base for the treks to Lidderwat, the Vishansar-Kishansar lakes and Kangan. The Kolahoi is the largest glacier in the Kashmir Valley, and is located near Mt. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. After breakfast transfer from Gulmarg to Srinagar. Check in at Houseboat later at evening enjoy your Shikara ride in famous Dal Lake. Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city, which is often compared to Venice. You will get a lovely view of some interesting places around the lake.
